Create an online experience that allowed for a true experience of the artists work, while organically integrating his extensive catalog of writings.
Meeting this ideal also required that we reflect the artists' minimalist sensibilities, broad range, narrative process and roots in Japanese art.
Cantilever met with Makoto to deeply understand his philosophy and style.
We developed a visual language that spoke to Makoto’s spirit while not distracting from the artwork, including unique bespoke visual effects and animations.
