Chronicles of Now is a publication featuring short fiction written rapidly in response to current events: A new way of understanding the headlines, stories, and people shaping our world.

Founder Tyler Cabot approached us with the ambitious vision of building an entirely new publication. Our friends Works Well With Others created a sharp visual identity and logo treatment, and our job was to integrate that into a structure reminiscent of a news site while maintaining the editorial quality of a print magazine.
We created a design inspired by traditional magazine and newspaper style – free of ads and clutter. We integrated beautiful hand-drawn illustrations by Joe McKendry with cute callouts. The design is stark, clean, and readable, allowing the top-class writing to shine.
